RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA — Radnor Township's Board of Commissioners this week passed an ordinance that established new, clearer rules on dogs in township parks.

Dogs are allowed in the following township parks and must be under their owners' control using a physical leash:

  • Emlen Tunnell Park
  • Ithan Valley Park
  • James C. Ditmar Park
  • Petrie Park
  • Radnor Nature Park
  • Radnor TAP Trail
  • Radnor Trail
  • Saw Mill Park
  • Unkefer Park
  • Veterans & First Responders Park

Dogs are not permitted at all in the following parks:

  • Bishop Richard Allen Park
  • Bo Connor Park
  • Clem Macrone Park
  • Cowan Park
  • Encke Park
  • Fenimore Woods Park
  • John L. Cappelli Memorial Driving Range
  • Odorisio Park
  • Radnor Memorial Park
  • Radnor Skatepark
  • Warren Filipone Park
  • The Willows Park

Dogs can also be off leash and under the control of their owners in Harford Park and Friends of Radnor Trails Park. North Wayne Park was added to that section by amendment, and the new rule states off-leash dogs are permitted there from dawn to noon, Monday through Friday.
