Scammers Posing As Radnor Officials In Email Fraud Scheme: Police

RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Radnor Township are warning of suspicious emails being sent to local land developers.
According to police, the suspect emails featured three separate email addresses that appeared to be legitimately from Radnor Township Staff.
The messages requested payment from the developers via wire transfer, police said.
Investigators said these types of scams appear to be happening across the nation.
Anyone who receives such an email from someone claiming to be from Radnor Township should confirm the identity of the sender, no matter how legitimate the email may seem.
