The annual rankings are based on test scores, academic performance, and input from students, alumni, and parents.

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — Schools in Delaware County are among those ranked as the best in Pennsylvania in Niche’s 2025 Best Schools and Districts rankings released this week.

According to the rankings, the Radnor Township School District led all Delaware County schools with an A+ ranking. Radnor was also ranked No. 1 in the state.

  7. Rose Tree Media School District — A
  8. Interboro School District — B
  9. Ridley School District — B-
  10. Penn-Delco School District — B-

The rankings differ from others that rely almost exclusively on test scores and academic performance in that it also includes input from students, alumni, and parents, as well as quantitative data from sources such as the U.S. Department of Education to evaluate teachers, resources, and facilities.
