Truck Stuck Under Bridge Thursday Night In Radnor

The cab of the Penske truck was elevated and struck the underside of the bridge.

RADNOR, PA —A Penske box truck struck a bridge at 7:40 Thursday night on Chamounix Road at the Amtrak overpass, trapping the driver inside, officials said Friday.

Radnor Fire Company and Emergency Management Service crews stabilized the vehicle and used rescue tools to force open the driver's door and remove the driver.

The driver was not injured. Radnor Fire Company cleared with scene within 20 minutes.
