Two Car Wreck Snags Thursday PM Rush Hour
One driver was taken to the hospital for observation, the other was able to walk away, carrying a set of golf clubs.
A two-car accident snagged the late rush hour in Radnor for about 30 minutes on Lancaster Avenue at Radnor-Chester Road.
A four door Nissan and a rented SUV collided at around 6:30 on the corner in front of the Radnor Hotel. The collision did extensive damage to the sedan's front end and heavily damaged part of the front of the SUV. The driver airbags deployed inside the rented SUV with Florida license plates.
The accident left debris spread across the westbound lanes of Lancaster Avenue and closed the northbound lanes of Radnor-Chester Road at the intersection for about 25 minutes.

A firefighter on the scene said the driver of the Nissan was taken to the hospital for observation. The driver of the SUV said medics advised him to take himself to hospital to get checked out. He was able to walk away from the accident scene carrying a set of golf clubs that had been in the SUV.
The scene was cleared and traffic was back to normal by 7 p.m.
