WEATHER ALERT: Potential Snowfall Totals Increased for Radnor
The snow will start Saturday afternoon, the NWS says, and could lead to hazardous travel conditions.

The potential snowfall amounts for this weekend’s storm were increased Friday afternoon by the National Weather Service, which now says to expect 4 to 6 inches of snow.
The “amounts are higher!” Gary Szatkowski with the NWS in Mount Holly, N.J., Tweeted.
The snow will start Saturday afternoon, the NWS says, and could lead to hazardous travel conditions. The snow will change to a wintry mix Saturday night, and ice accumulation is likely.

Here’s the hour-by-hour forecast, according to the National Weather Service:
- Friday night: Increasing clouds, with a low around 5. West wind 5 to 7 mph becoming light and variable in the evening.
- Saturday: Snow, mainly after 1 p.m. High near 31. Wind chill values as low as -1. Light southeast wind becoming south 5 to 9 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.
- Saturday night: Snow before 8 p.m., then snow, freezing rain, and sleet between 8 and 10 p.m., then rain and snow showers after 10 p.m. The rain and snow could be heavy at times. Temperature rising to around 36 by 4am. South wind 5 to 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent. New ice accumulation of less than a 0.1 of an inch possible. New snow and sleet accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
- Sunday: A chance of rain. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 40. West wind 6 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
- Sunday night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 18. Northwest wind around 8 mph.
