Where are You Parking for the U.S. Open?

Share your plan for getting to the championship event.

Depending on how much you want to pay, you can park on private properties for the U.S. Open as close as around the corner from the Merion Golf Club. I've seen parking lots with shuttle options in Rosemont, Haverford and Bryn Mawr, too. Prices start at $25 a day.

On Monday a wrench was thrown into many people's plans with the temporary closing of the The Rose Tree Park (RED Lot) in Media. but was open to event volunteers.

A few Patch readers offered their suggestions for parking:

Radnortownship writes: Best Parking Solution: Park in Bryn Mawr Municipal Lot. Get a $20 ticket. Walk to Norristown high Speed Line. Zip into Merion. Return to Bryn Mawr and drink at The Erin Pub with the Caddies. Good Day. Save Money, Time and Traffic.

Palombaro Club writes: Palombaro Club right in Ardmore. Room for 50 cars, $50 a car. Off street parking on paved surface. 2632 County Line Rd. Next to Maloneys Pub. Park in rear in the fenced in lot. Turn off County Line past barricade "Road Closed" - local traffic OK. Do not park in Wishes e-commerce lot. Turn in by the horseshoe pits.
