ROXBOROUGH, PHILADELPHIA — A Pennsylvania Lottery ticket worth nearly $260,000 was sold in Roxborough recently, according to officials.

A progressive top prize-winning ticket worth $259,538 for the MONOPOLY Free Parking Progressive game was sold at Commissary Food Market in Roxborough on Monday.

Commissary Food Market, 5255 Ridge Ave., gets a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

MONOPOLY Free Parking Progressive is a $10 Fast Play game that offers progressive top prizes starting at $150,000.

Fast Play games print on-demand from a lottery sales terminal or self-service touchscreen vending terminal and are similar to Scratch-Off games, but without the need to scratch a ticket or wait for a drawing.

Prizes must be claimed, and tickets must be validated before winners can be identified.

Fast Play prizes must be claimed within one year of the ticket purchase date. All lottery prizes more than $5,000 are subject to applicable withholding.
