$629K-Winning Lottery Ticket Sold In Roxborough

The 7-Eleven on Ridge Avenue in Roxborough sold a Money Tree​ ticket Saturday that won more than $629,001.

ROXBOROUGH, PHILADELPHIA — A Roxborough convenience store recently sold a Pennsylvania Lottery ticket that's good for more than $629,000.

Pennsylvania Lottery officials said a progressive top prize-winning ticket worth $629,001 for the Money Tree game from the Pennsylvania Lottery was sold at 7-Eleven, 7607 Ridge Ave. in Roxborough, on Saturday.

7-Eleven will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Money Tree is a $20 Fast Play game that offers progressive top prizes starting at $400,000.

Fast Play games print on-demand from a lottery sales terminal or self-service touchscreen vending terminal and are similar to Scratch-Off games, but without the need to scratch a ticket or wait for a drawing.

Prizes must be claimed, and tickets validated, before winners can be identified.

Fast Play prizes must be claimed within one year of the ticket purchase date.

All lottery prizes more than $5,000 are subject to applicable withholding.
