Body Found in the Wissahickon Identified
Police have identified the body that was discovered floating in the Wissahickon Creek on Saturday.

Police have identified the body of a man found in the Wissahickon creek on Saturday as 33-year-old Roxborough resident David Taundi, 6ABC News reports.
Philadelphia Police Spokeswoman Officer Christine O'Brien told Patch on Saturday that the body was found floating near Lincoln Drive and Ridge Avenue in East Falls.
According to ABC News, Taundi went missing after an early morning car crash on Dec. 16 in the 5200 block of Henry Avenue.

ABC News reports that witnesses at the scene of the crash reported seeing a man believed to be Taundi exit the vehicle after it flipped and caught fire and “walked off.”
Taundi’s father, Josiya, says he had been gathering money to hire a private detective to search for his son, ABC News reports.
