Choir Car Wash and Everything You Need to Know about Tuesday

Here's everything you need to know about Tuesday, Aug. 20.

Car Wash: Choir students from Cook-Wissahickon Elementary will host a car wash on Tuesday, Aug. 20, at noon at the school to raise funds to support their upcoming tour season. The choir has performed in various competitions and events throughout the state and hopes to continue on their adventurous journey. With the support of the community these children can bring music to the world around them through song. 

Thrill Show Tickets: Tickets are still available for the Philadelphia Police Department's annual Thrill Show.  All proceeds from the show go towards scholarships for the children of fallen city police officers and firefighters.

This day in history: On Aug. 19, 1692, the Salem Witch Trials get underway with one woman and four men eventually put to death for being witches.
