A person at Green Lane Methodist Church saw a man steal copper from the church's down spout on Oct. 14, at around 7:50 a.m.
A person who works for the church noticed a man loading a 10-foot copper pipe into the back of an older model tan Toyota. The pipe had been attached to the church's down spout.
Once it was loaded into the car, the man drove away, police said.
Police valued the copper at $100.
