Deer Rescued From Roxborough Construction Site Monday: Reports
A deer was spotted in the bottom of a Ridge Avenue construction site Monday by a resident and was able to be safely removed later that day.
ROXBOROUGH, PHILADELPHIA — A deer found itself stuck in a Roxborough construction site and got a hand to reach freedom.
The deer was stuck at a site on the 6800 block of Ridge Avenue since at least Sunday, NBC10.
Resident Tim Ryan on social media shared a photo of the deer in the foundation area of the site and asked neighbors what could be done to help rescue the buck.

The post garnered hundreds of comments and reactions, which in turn prompted officials to respond.
Action News reports the deer was safely removed from the site using the bucket of a front-end loader at about 5 p.m. Monday.
