Friends Of The Wissahickon Hosting Free Ice Cream Social Aug 9
The free event will feature ice cream and sorbet from Bredenbeck's Bakery, as well as family friendly activities on Wednesday, Aug. 9.
PHILADELPHIA — Friends of the Wissahickon are getting ready to bring back their annual Ice Cream Social.
This year's event is scheduled from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9 at Historic Rittenhouse Town.
The Ice Cream Social is free and will feature ice cream and sorbet from Bredenbeck’s Bakery.

There will also be family friendly activities at the event.
Activities will be hosted by Friends of the Wissahickon staff and partners, including Let’s Go Outdoors and the Wissahickon Environmental Center.
