Help Clean Up Wissahickon Valley Park On Martin Luther King Jr Day
Activities range from removing invasive vines to cleaning up litter at Friends of the Wissahickon's Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service.

PHILADELPHIA — Friends of the Wissahickon is inviting the community to give back and help keep Wissahickon Valley Park beautiful at its Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service Cleanup.
The cleanup will begin at 9 a.m. Monday, Jan. 15.
Volunteers will perform a variety of tasks through noon.

Work will take place in the southern section of the park at Thomas Mansion.

No experience is needed.
Friends of the Wissahickon will provide gloves, tools, and instruction.
Volunteers should wear warm layers and bring a water bottle.
Snow or especially frigid temperatures will cancel this event.
