Lottery Ticket Worth $100,000 Sold At Roxborough Grocery Store

A Powerball with Power Play ticket sold at ShopRite on Ridge Avenue recently is good for $100,000, according to the Pennsylvania Lottery.

ROXBOROUGH, PHILADELPHIA — A Roxborough grocery store sold a lottery ticket good for $100,000 recently.

ShopRite at 6901 Ridge Ave. in Roxborough recently sold a Powerball with Power Play ticket worth $100,000.

The store will earn a $500 bonus for selling the ticket.

That ticket is one of three sold in Philadelphia to win $100,000.

Others were sold at Wawa, 2600 Penrose Ave., and Eddie’s General Store, 2849 Holme Ave.

The three matched four of the five white balls drawn, 2-11-22-35-60, and the red Powerball 23 to win $100,000, less applicable withholding.

Without the $1 Power Play option, the ticket would have been worth $50,000.

Winners are not known until prizes are claimed and tickets are validated.

Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes.

Winning tickets purchased at a Lottery retailer should immediately be signed on the back.

Online winnings automatically appear in a player’s account after the claim has been processed.

To initiate an online prize claim, winners should call 1-800-692-7481.
