Man Gets 25 Stitches After Beating, Police Say

Aggravated Assault: On Feb. 24, at approximately 1 a.m., police received a report of an aggravated assault in the 300 block of Shurs Lane.  According to police, a man was walking down the street after what he described to officials as eight hours straight of drinking when he was beaten by unknown people.  Police say that the man was taken to Temple Hospital where he received 25 stitches.

Theft: On Feb. 25, at approximately 11:48 p.m., a patrol officer noticed the front left window smashed out of a car in the 8500 block of Henry Ave.  According to police, the airbag had been stolen.
