Man Sexually Assaulted Pre-Teen Girl In Roxborough: Police

ROXBOROUGH, PHILADELPHIA — The assault of a pre-teen girl in Roxborough is under investigation, and Philadelphia Police are looking for the man and vehicle above in connection with the incident.

According to police, the assault occurred at about 11:24 a.m. March 20 on the 200 block of East Salaignac Street in Roxborough.

The victim, 12, was on that block when a man approached her, then sexually assaulted her.

He also asked her to get into his vehicle that was parked on the block.

Police described the suspect as a black man, 35 to 40 years old, who was wearing a gray and black checkered hooded sweatshirt, dark pants with white emblem on the left leg, and black and white sneakers.

He was driving a white SUV with an unknown tag, make and model. Police said it may have been a 2018 Kia Sorento.
