Naturepalooza In Roxborough Promises Kids Fun, Music, Education

ROXBOROUGH, PHILADELPHIA — A slew of family-friendly events are planned for Earth Day this weekend at the Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education.

The Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education is inviting families to celebrate Earth Day at its Naturepalooza event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the center.

Attendees will be able to enjoy numerous activities, such as guided hikes, nature-themed arts and crafts, face painting, animal track identification, and how to make native plant seed balls.

The event will also feature food trucks and the Billy Jonas Band performing their music on recycled and found objects.

• 10:30 a.m. — Nature-themed Storytime with Andorra Library
• 11 a.m. — Billy Jonas Band Performance
• 11:30 a.m. — Guided Nature Hike
• Noon — Nature-themed Storytime with Andorra Library
• Noon — Environmental Art Tour
• 12:30 p.m. — Guided Nature Hike (wheelchair and stroller friendly)
• 1 p.m. — Billy Jonas Band Performance
