PHILADELPHIA – It's cold. We're talking really, really cold. And the temperatures aren't expected to warm up anytime soon.
But with the bitter temperatures comes some beautiful scenes, especially of the frozen Schuylkill River.
An arctic blast continues to grip Philadelphia and the surrounding region, with a scary-sounding "bomb cyclone" winter hurricane on the way for parts of the East Coast. That isn't stopping social media users from braving the cold to get photos of the mighty river in its frozen state.
