T-shirt and sweatshirt sales will help provide football uniforms and a new scoreboard that will honor the late Havertown teenager.
ROXBOROUGH, PHILADELPHIA — It's nearly been a year since several accused gunmen opened fire on teens leaving a football scrimmage in Roxborough, injuring several and killing one.
Fourteen-year-old Nicolas Elizalde, of Havertown, died after being shot Sept. 27, 2022 outside Roxborough High School.
Now, the Elizalde family is teaming up with the school and the School District of Philadelphia to raise funding for new football uniforms and a scoreboard dedicated to the slain teen's memory.
