Vigil For Roxborough Shooting Victims Thursday In Gorgas Park

ROXBOROUGH, PHILADELPHIA — In the wake of a shooting that killed one teen and hurt four others in Roxborough, a vigil is planned for Thursday.

The vigil will honor the victims, including 14-year-old Nicolas Elizalde who died, of Tuesday's shooting.

"There are truly no words to express the range of emotions and grief that the friends and family of the victims must be feeling," the Roxborough Development Corporation, who is hosting the vigil said. "Our thoughts are with them and with how the RDC and greater community can stand with them during their time of loss."

Gorgas Park is located at 6300 Ridge Ave. in Roxborough.
