Armored Truck Robbery Fugitive to Appear on 'America's Most Wanted'

The man accused of killing a Woodland Hills alumnus remains on the loose.

A multiagency investigation continues in the search for the man accused of killing his workmate in a violent robbery just a few weeks ago.

Konias is wanted in the homicide of a GARDA armored truck employee, Michael Haines, a 1999 graduate of .

The FBI is utilizing social media while most recently, three detectives and one FBI special agent working on the case traveled to Washington, DC, to appear on "America’s Most Wanted."

Pittsburgh Bureau of Police detectives Peg Sherwood and J.R. Smith, FBI Special Agent Scott Argiro of the Pittsburgh office, and Det. Brian Kohlhepp will be featured on the show, which will air on today, March 16, at 9 p.m. on the Lifetime Channel. 

Konias is wanted in connection with the homicide and the robbery of a substantial amount of money contained in the vehicle.

In a concerted effort to garner more attention to this case, a wanted poster of Konias is being featured on electronic billboards up and down the East Coast.
