District Court: Leet Man Stomps Television Before Arrest
Leet Township police said the man showed up uninvited to a township home.

The following people were charged and scheduled for preliminary hearings Feb. 12 in Leetsdale District Court:
Waived
- Eldwin Williams, 38, of Mound Street, Leet Township, charged with simple assault, criminal mischief, harassment and disorderly conduct. Leet Police reported Williams went to a home despite the resident not wanting him there. Police arrived and asked Williams to step outside the home. He smashed a flat screen television to the floor and began stomping it, before he was arrested, police said.
- Nelson Viola III, 44, of Landsdale Drive, Franklin Park, charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. Franklin Park police reported that Viola's pickup was involved in a one-vehicle crash Dec. 21 after going through some bushes and a wooden fence at the intersection of Richard and Meinert roads. Police reported breathalyzer results of 0.141 percent, above the state's legal limit of 0.08 percent.
