Growing Up Global: Raising Children to be at Home in the World

Quaker Valley School District will host Homa Tavangar, author of "Growing Up Global: Raising Children to be at Home in the World," on Thursday, Oct. 4. 

Her presentation in the Quaker Valley High School auditorium, addresses raising and educating children to be comfortable global citizens. 

The event is free and open to students, parents, and community members. Tavangar will serve as a presenter at the Pennsylvania Council for International Education annual conference Oct. 5-6 in Pittsburgh. Her visit to Quaker Valley High School was facilitated through the district's partnership with the World Affairs Council of Pittsburgh.
