Moon Teenager Reported Missing
Family members of Savannah Clark said she has not been seen since Aug. 6.

 are investigating the disappearance of a 17-year-old  senior.Â
Savannah Clark, 17, was last seen on Aug. 6, according to family members. Â
Police Capt. Greg Seamon said Clark was last seen by her mother at home before she went to bed on the night of Aug. 6.Â

Seamon said Clark's parents found a note the following morning from the girl saying she was running away . Because Clark is a juvenile, her disappearance is being handled as a missing-persons case.Â
Seamon said Clark, who has no prior juvenile history with the department, did not indicate where she was going in the note or her reason for leaving.

"She didn't even take a  with her," Seamon said. "Our officers have been following leads with friends, friends of friends, possible boyfriends.
"We have no idea where she is at at this point," Seamon said.Â
Clark is 5 foot-5 and weighs 145 pounds. She has light blue grey eyes and is fair-skinned with short dark hair. She also has a blue heart with wings tattooed on her inner left wrist.Â
Clark's family asks that any information regarding her disappearance be reported to township police at 412-262-5000.
