Quaker Valley, Sewickley Academy Cancel Evening Activities Due to Snow

The snowy weather isn't just causing bad road conditions. 

Quaker Valley School District and Sewickley Academy have canceled all activities and athletics for Friday evening due to the inclement weather. Quaker Valley students had an early dismissal today. 

Students taking the SATs at North Allegheny tomorrow morning are asked to check the College Board website and the North Allegheny website in case of a cancelation.

Quaker Valley also reminds high school students to monitor local news stations or the district website for cancellation information.

The middle school Open House Celebration remains on schedule from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26. The community is invited to tour the newly renovated school. The event includes student performances, exhibits, and lunch in the cafeteria.  For a schedule of performances and activities, click here.
