The Associated Press has projected Heather Boyd to be the winner in the 163rd District race, keeping Democrats in control of the House.

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — Democrats will keep their razor-thin majority in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, with Democrat Heather Boyd projected the winner in the 163rd District race by the Associated Press.
Boyd was vying for the 163rd seat vacated by former Democratic rep Mike Zabel, who resigned amid allegations of misconduct in March.

Boyd was up against Republican Katie Ford and Libertarian Alfe Goodwin.
Results from the special election will be coming in throughout the night, but with an increase in voting by mail, official results likely won't be available for a few days.
