Philly-Area Woman Appearing On New 'Bachelor' Franchise Show

ASTON, PA — ABC seems to be realizing Philadelphia area singles make for good TV, as a Delaware County woman will appear on a new version of the hit reality dating series "The Bachelor."

ABC's newest iteration of the long-running franchise is called "The Golden Bachelor" and breaks the form that made it a success by featuring contestants and a bachelor who are in their "golden" years.

Among the bevvy of single ladies vying for 71-year-old bachelor Gerry Turner's heart is Delaware County's Susan Noles.

Noles, 66, of Aston, will compete against 21 other women between 60 and 75 years old in hopes of finding love with Turner.

Noles joins recent "The Bachelorette" finalist Joey Graziadei in representing the Philadelphia area.

Graziadei, a Collegeville native, was named the titular bachelor for the upcoming season of "The Bachelor" bachelorette Charity Lawson accepted Dotun Olubeko's proposal.

According to ABC's website, Noles is a wedding officiant and hair and makeup artist who loves golf, The Rolling Stones and Pink Floyd, and time with her family at the beach (aka down the shore).

"Susan knows what she's looking for in a man and hopes Gerry is athletic, funny and honest," Noles' bio reads on the ABC website. "For Susan, this journey is all about finding her forever, so here's hoping she can find that meaningful connection with Gerry."

According to the Delaware County Daily Times, Noles' ex-husband is former Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Dickie Noles.

Catch Noles on the "The Golden Bachelor" when it premieres at 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 28 on ABC.
