Springield Police will be collecting unused or exprired drugs on Saturday as part of a national no-questions-asked free event.

Got Drugs? National Take Back Initiative, April 27, 2013 10:00am to 2:00pm, Springfield Township Police Department. Turn in your unused or expired medication for safe disposal.

The National Take Back Initiative was launched to keep prescriptions out of the hands of people who should not be taking someone else's medication. Prescription drugs in homes and cars are also often a target for thieves.
