iPhones, Power Tolls Reported Stolen

Springfield Police are investigating a number of reported thefts.

Springfield Police are investigating a number of reported thefts in addition to a number of bikes that have gone missing since the beginning of the month.

  • An Aston resident reported that sometime between 6:50 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on September 20 someone tried to steal a tire and wheel from her car while it was parked in the lot of Church Road Park. Two lug nuts and the hubcap were missing. The other lug nuts had been loosened.

 

  • A Springfield youth reported that sometime during the day of September 20 someone stole his black colored Apple iPhone 5 after he put it down on a bench in the boy’s locker room at Springfield High School. The phone is valued at $400.

  • A Swarthmore resident reported that someone stole her iPhone 5 from the counter at the Babies ‘R Us Store in the 700 block of Baltimore Pike on September 21. The victim had placed the phone on the counter to speak to an employee and returned to find it missing. The phone is valued at $550.

 

  • A resident from the 400 block of Barker Road reported that sometime during the night of September 16 someone entered his unlocked detached garage and stole two Echo Gas powered blowers, two Echo gas powered trimmers, and a Huskvuna gas power blower. The items are valued in excess of $1,500.

  • A resident from the 200 block of Worrell Drive reported that sometime during the night of September 18 someone entered his unlocked car and stole a Dewalt power drill while the car was parked on the street in front of the home. The drill is valued at $200.
