Panty Raid at Springfield Store

Police say thieves got away with thousands in undergarments.

 

Thieves have taken yoga pants, bras, and now the Victoria's Secret in Springfield Mall can add panties and even more bras to the list of items reported stolen from a display table at the front of the store in recent months.

Springfield Police are investigating two reports of stolen items over the past week at the store.

In the first case police say "the Victoriaís Secrets Store in the Springfield Mall reported that sometime between 4:40 p.m. and 8:21 p.m. on Wednesday "someone stole 75 pairs of womenís panties from a display in the front of the store. The items are valued in excess of $980.00."

Two days later, on Friday at 2:13 p.m. Springfield Police were called back to the store for a report that someone stole "20 bras from a display in the front of the store. The items are valued in excess of $1,100.00." According to police the bras were stolen sometime between 1:45 p.m. and 2:13 p.m..
