Purses, iPhone Stolen from Unlocked Cars
Springfield Police are investigating a number of thefts from cars.

Springfield Police are investigating a number of thefts from cars.
- A resident of the 100 block of N. Highland Road reported that sometime during the night of Oct. 27Â someone entered her unlocked car and stole her purse while the car was parked in the driveway of the home. The purse contained various forms of identification, cash, and three Visa gift cards.
- A resident of the 100 block of N. Rolling Road reported that sometime during the night of Oct. 27Â someone entered her unlocked car and stole her purse while the car was parked in the driveway of the home. The purse contained various forms of identification, cash, and credit cards. One of the credit cards had been used at a local business before it could be cancelled.
- A resident of the unit block of N. Hillcrest Road reported that sometime during the night of Oct. 27Â someone entered his unlocked car and stole a quantity of loose change while the car was parked in the driveway of the home.
- A resident of the 100 block of N. Hillcrest Road reported that sometime during the night of Oct. 27Â someone entered his unlocked car and stole his iPhone while the car was parked in the driveway of the home. The phone is valued at $300.
- A resident of the 100 block of N. Highland Road reported that sometime during the night of Oct. 28Â someone entered her unlocked car and stole a small amount of cash while the car was parked in the driveway of the home.
- A resident of the 600 block of Hillborn Avenue reported that sometime during the night of Oct. 28Â someone entered his unlocked car and stole a quantity of loose change while the car was parked in the driveway of the home.
- A resident from the 200 block of N. Highland Road reported that sometime during the night of Oct. 28Â someone entered her unlocked car while it was parked in the driveway of the home. The car was rummaged through, but nothing appeared to have been taken.
- A resident of the 100 block of Bellvue Avenue reported that sometime during the night of Nov. 2 someone entered his two unlocked cars while they were parked in the driveway of the home. Both of the cars were rummaged through, but nothing appeared to be missing from either car.
