Stolen Vehicle, Thefts, Trespassing, More: Springfield Crime Blotter

SPRINGFIELD, PA — Police in Springfield Township issued their weekly crime blotter Monday.
Incidents in the blotter occurred between Dec. 11 and Dec. 17.

Dec. 11 at 6:11 p.m.
A resident of the unit block of Barbara Drive reported the catalytic converter on his Honda vehicle was stolen while the vehicle was parked on the street sometime after 4 p.m. Dec. 10.
Dec. 13 at 2:13 p.m.
A resident of the 700 block of Bradford Terrace reported the fender to his vehicle had been scraped while the vehicle was parked in a driveway sometime after Monday, Dec. 11.

Dec. 14 at 6:06 p.m.
A 48-year-old female from Springfield was taken into custody and will be charged with Trespassing and Disorderly Conduct after she caused a disturbance on the unit block of Yale Square and then failed to leave the area.
Dec. 16 at 7:13 a.m.
A resident of the 200 block of South Norwinden Drive reported his Acura vehicle stolen from the driveway sometime between 5 a.m. and 6 a.m. The key fob may have been left with the vehicle. While officers were on location, they located an unoccupied vehicle parked on Norwinden Drive, found stolen out of Philadelphia. Det. Cutcliff is investigating.
Dec. 16 at 6:56 p.m.
Officers were called to the CVS, 700 block of Baltimore Pike, for a report that two subjects had stolen merchandise and left on foot walking on Baltimore Pike. Responding officers stopped both subjects and found them in possession of stolen merchandise. A 21-year-old female from Ecuador and her 13-year-old nephew who are both staying in Upper Darby were taken into custody. They were later released and will be charged with Retail Theft.
Dec. 17 at 5:20 p.m.
A 34-year-old Philadelphia woman was taken into custody after stealing close to $500 worth of sporting goods from Target 800, block of Baltimore Pike. She was held for arraignment and transported to Delaware County Prison.
