Thief Steals 500-Pound Heater
Police say the heater was stolen from a Springfield backyard.
Springfield Police are investigating the disappearance of a scrap hot water heater.
A resident on the 300 block of Ballymore Road reported that the scrap hot water heater was stolen from the rear yard of his home, police say.
The water heater weighed more than 500 pounds, according to the police report.
