'2001: A Space Odyssey' To Be Screened At Chester County Historical Society

The Chester County Historical Society will host a screening of Stanley Kubrick's "2001: A Space Odyssey," on Thursday.

The Chester County Historical Society will host a screening of Stanley Kubrick’s groundbreaking 1968 film “2001: A Space Odyssey,” on Thursday.

The screening is scheduled for 7 p.m. following a special guest speaker – still to be announced, according to the historical society’s website – at 6:30 p.m. The event is part of a larger series hosted by the museum showcasing 1960s film, sponsored by the Chester County Conference and Visitor’s Bureau.

Tickets are $6 for admission to the museum, which includes entry into the screening. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for museum access. Tickets can be purchased at the door. Guests can reserve a seat by emailing rsvp@chestercohistorical.org, or calling 610-692-4800.
