As Grand Opening Approaches, The 'Help Wanted' Sign is Still Up at Big Lots

Need work? New story is hiring.

The "now hiring" sign is still up at the new Valley Fair Shopping Center on Swedesford Road, and the sign is bigger than ever in terms of wages.

The store is expected to open officially some time next week and the merchandise is already filling up shelves.

According to the sign, jobs start at $9 an hour and there is no experience necessary. The manager of the store has previously told Patch that applicants should apply in person at the store Monday-Friday for jobs in all sections of the store from cash registers to the stock room and sales floor.
