Berwyn to Celebrate the Fourth of July with Free Picnic and Bike Parade

Easttown Township will celebrate the Fourth of July in grand, old fashioned style with a picnic and bicycle parade Monday.

Registration for the parade will begin at 10:15 at Johnson Park on Bridge Street. The parade steps and pedals off at 11. The free picnic featuring hot dogs, hamburgers, and cold drinks will be held from 11:30a.m. until 1p.m. at Johnson Park.

Nine trophies will be awarded in 2011 by the Berwyn Veterans’ Memorial Committee and the board for the children with the most patriotic, most creative and "funniest” bicycles.
