Summer Camp Counselor
Part Time

The Parks & Recreation Department is currently accepting applications for Summer Day Camp Counselors. If you are 14 years or older, enthusiastic, enjoy outdoor activities and have experience with or would enjoy working with Children between the ages of 3 and 12, this is the summer job for you.

  • Dates — June 26 to July 31, 2026 (closed on July 3)
  • Hours – 8:45 a.m. to about 12:15 p.m.
  • Location – Wilson Farm Park
  • Salary – starting at $10 per hour, depending on experience.

Staffers are required to be available to work at least five of the six weeks that camp is scheduled.

As part of the hiring process counselors are required to provide valid PA Child Abuse History Clearance and FBI Federal Criminal History Records, as well as passing a drug screen. These clearances are required for any position involving interaction with children.

The Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151) application can be submitted online. Once you enter the link you will be directed to the Child Welfare Portal where you must create an account or log in if you already have an account. An email address is needed to create an account. Public Works Laborer
Full Time

Tredyffrin Township is seeking to fill the position of Public Works Department Laborer who can perform a variety of skilled and unskilled duties, including but not limited to: general maintenance and repair to Township property, roads, infrastructure and parks. Snow removal and other tasks as assigned. The successful candidate must be able to operate Township equipment and vehicles, including but not limited to, non-CDL trucks, Class 7 dump trucks, plows, walk behind and riding mowers, snow blowers, string trimmer, air compressors, small tractors, kettle, etc. This individual must be in good physical condition and be able to stand, walk, crouch, climb and carry heavy objects, and work in all types of weather conditions.

Qualifications for this position include:

  • High School diploma or G.E.D.
  • Minimal maintenance and construction knowledge.
  • Valid PA driver’s license (Class C)
  • Availability for scheduled and emergency overtime duty, as needed.

Public Works Sewer Operator I
Full Time

Tredyffrin Township seeks a Public Works Department Sewer Operator I who can perform a variety of skilled and unskilled duties, including but not limited to: Operating, maintaining, and repairing the facilities of the sewer collection system and pump stations. Operates equipment and utilizes a variety of hand and power tools. Maintain right-of-way, buildings, and properties used for collection and transfer of wastewater. Records information and files reports for equipment operation and wastewater flow. Perform PA One Calls, as needed. Snow removal. Assists in Jet Truck operation. Other Public Works tasks as assigned. The successful candidate must be able to operate Township equipment and vehicles. This individual must be in good physical condition and be able to walk, crouch, climb and carry heavy objects, and work in all types of weather conditions.

Qualifications for this position include:

  • High School diploma/G.E.D
  • Minimal maintenance, construction, and/or plumbing knowledge.
  • Availability for scheduled and emergency overtime duty, as needed.

Public Works Operator
Full Time

Tredyffrin Township seeks a Public Works Department Operator who can perform a variety of skilled and unskilled duties, including but not limited to: Repair street signs. Road paving and patching. Grass cutting and general grounds keeping. Playground and sports field maintenance. Cleaning and repairing storm sewer inlets and pipes. Minor mechanical repairs and painting for Township buildings. Minor streetlight and traffic signal maintenance. Roadside leaf and debris collection. Clean and perform minor maintenance to all Public Works vehicles. Assist with compost facility operation. Snow removal. Perform duties of the Laborer position, as necessary. May be required to temporarily perform the duties of a Senior Operator. The successful candidate must be able to operate Township equipment and vehicles, including but not limited to, CDL trucks, tractors, movers, snowplows, backhoe, air compressor, paint sprayer, skid steer loader, and all equipment listed in the Laborer positions. This individual must be in good physical condition and be able to walk, crouch, climb and carry heavy objects, and work in all types of weather conditions.

Qualifications for this position include:

  • High School diploma or G.E.D.
  • Three years’ general construction experience or related fields.
  • Valid PA driver’s license - CDL, Class B with air brake and tanker endorsement.
  • Availability for scheduled and emergency overtime duty, as needed.
