Big Star, Small Crowds at Wegmans
One of the biggest names in music came to sign books for hardcore fans.
She is a Philly music legend and the fans who came from miles around got autographs, and a big thrill without having to wait.
Patti LaBelle signed copies of her new cookbook Thursday night at the new Wegmans in King of Prussia.
They didn't have to wait long either. Wegmans was geared up for big crowds with rope lines and a bullhorn for the 6-8p.m. appearance. By 6:45 there was virtually no line, giving the star a chance to talk to the fans who came from as far as Philadelphia, Limerick and beyond.
