Chesco Stabbing Lands Attempted Homicide Charges For MD Woman: Police

An 18-year-old Maryland woman is accused of stabbing a person multiple times in East Nottingham Township earlier this week, police said.

EAST NOTTINGHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — Pennsylvania State Police said an 18-year-old Maryland woman has been charged with attempted homicide and related crimes in a Chester County stabbing earlier this week.

Sadie Ann Sapp, 18, of Rising Sun, Maryland, was taken into custody at about 7 p.m. Wednesday by state troopers.

Authorities said Sapp stabbed the victim on the 2800 block of Forge Road in East Nottingham Township.

After the stabbing, Sapp drove off and the victim was taken to a hospital, where they are in stable condition, police said.

Court records show Sapp is charged with aggravated assault, robbery, recklessly endangering another person, simple assault, possession of an instrument of crime, and theft by unlawful taking.

She was denied bail and is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing on Nov. 19, court records show.
