Construction Closes Valley Forge Road This Weekend
Patch told you about this Monday, but here's your reminder.
Avoid Valley Forge Road near 202 this weekend.
As we reported on Monday, a section of Valley Forge Road in Devon will close Friday as a new bridge is added for the Chester Valley Trail.
The section of roadway between between Swedesford Road and Old State Road will be closed as crews install a pre-fabricated pedestrian bridge.
Orange signs at the site construction, as well as electronic signs on Swedesford Road and in front of Winberie's on Valley Forge Road warn motorists that the road will be closed from 7 p.m. Friday to 7 p.m. Monday.
Traffic is being detoured onto Old Eagle School Road.
