Crimes at 3 TE Stores Keep Police Busy

Tredyffrin Police report small crimes at three big area stores-but it's not petty to the victims.

Editor's Note: The following incidents were reported by Tredyffrin Township Police. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven otherwise in a court of law.

RETAIL THEFT

10/4/12 at 1727 hours – Pathmark Store in Berwyn. Thoai Le, 31 of Malvern PA was cited for retail theft after store management observed him placing lower priced labels on higher priced meats.

THEFT

10/7/12 at 1111 hours – Kmart Store in Strafford. Police responded to the report of a cell phone theft. The store employee stated that she left her phone on the counter and had stepped away briefly. When she returned, the phone was missing. The phone is valued at about $200.00.

RETAIL THEFT

9/16/12 – Paoli Acme. In a previous press release, the actors involved were originally reported as unknown. During the investigation, video was obtained and the actors were positively identified. John Fisher, 27, and Scott Fisher, 29, both of Malvern PA were arrested for retail theft and receiving stolen property.
