Driver Dies in South Valley Road Crash
South Valley Road was closed as police from Willistown and Easttown investigate a fatal pre-dawn accident Friday.
One person is dead following a single car crash on South Valley Road near the Easttown/Willistown border.
According to Willistown Police, a vehicle traveling northbound on the 2300 block of South Valley Road around 4:35 a.m. Friday veered off the road and into a tree.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene by responding medical personnel. There were no other passengers in the vehicle.

As of 8:55 a.m., South Valley Road was closed as police conducted an investigation.
Police have not released the victim's name, pending notification of family.

Willistown Police were assisted at the scene by Easttown Township Police Department, Paoli Fire Company, Malvern Fire Company Paramedics and Chester County Coroner’s Office, according to a police department statement.
