Early Voter Turnout Looking Good In Tredyffrin

TREDYFFRIN/EASTTOWN, PA - During the first hour of the polls opening this morning, a total of 36 voters cast ballots at Conestoga High School.
Election officials at the poll said it looks like there is going to be a good turnout, noting that during the primary there were only nine during the first hour.
“This is good for us,” the election worker said during a short break.

Sarah Marvin, a Republican candidate for state House D-157, stopped by the poll at her alma mater to visit her mother, Lisa Archbold, who was working at a table greeting voters.
“She makes me a proud mother,” Archbold said. “She is a mother of four, a principal of a school and running a campaign.”

Marvin’s daughter, Abbey, 12, was also there to support her mom.
Marvin is running against incumbent Melissa Shusterman, a Democratic candidate, and also a Conestoga alumni.
Tom Dunlap, the Democratic committee person, was at a table providing hot coffee and donuts to voters.
Tredyffrin Township Supervisor Mark Freed, a Democrat, said he enjoys voting in person and meeting all of the people.
“This is just around the corner from me,” he said of the high school. “I really enjoy it.”
