Exton Movie Tavern Patron Throws Metal Pole At Staff: Police
West Whiteland Twp. Police are looking for a man seen on camera throwing a standing moviehouse pole, like a javelin, at a theater employee.

EXTON, PA — A Movie Tavern patron picked up a metal pole standing in the theater to direct patrons, and threw it javelin-style at an employee of the Exton theater, police reported.
The West Whiteland Township Police Department is investigating the alleged assault at the Movie Tavern at 11:45 p.m. on Aug. 28.
A police report said an unknown man threw a metal pole at an employee and police are asking anyone who witnessed anything, or has any information, to contact the Department at 610-363-0200 or 610-692-5100.

"This isn't an athlete at the Tokyo Olympics throwing a javelin. This is a customer of the Movie Tavern throwing a heavy metal stand at an employee," West Whiteland Township Police said in a social media post showing the suspect.
The post added, "Luckily, no one was injured during the incident. The full video cannot be posted because of uninvolved persons in the video. We had to go with still images."
