Five Firms Vie for Train-Trail Connector Path Study
The path would connect the new Paoli Transportation Center to the Chester Valley Trail via West Central Avenue and Cedar Hollow Road.
Five firms have submitted proposals to conduct a study gauging the feasibility of a path connecting the nascent Paoli Transportation Center to the Chester Valley Trail, according to the agency that commissioned the study.
The Transportation Management Authority of Chester County announced a request for proposals to build the pathway in January.
The pathway is represented as a blue line on the attached map. It would give pedestrians and bicyclists a safe route between two destinations that are not yet open—the second phase of the county trail and the redeveloped, expanded Paoli Septa station.
