Halloween Weekend Storm No Treat for Easttown's Budget
Short storm result in tall expenses.

Ask anyone responsible for municipal budgets and they'll tell you snow business is not cheap. That was the case in Easttown last month. Assistant Township Manager Mike Brown says the final cost of the storm totalled about $9,700.
Brown says about one-quarter and one third of the cost was for crews who had to clear trees from roadways, the rest of the cost was for 48 hours of running emergency generators to run the township's sewage pumping stations and for staff overtime to clear streets.
