Lane Closures For The Week Of Feb. 28 For PA Turnpike Project
Construction crews will work next week on overhead bridge demolition for the PA Turnpike expansion in Tredyffrin and Upper Merion.

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA –PennDOT alerts motorists Friday that Route 422 and North Gulph Road, in Upper Merion and Tredyffrin township will be reduced to one lane next week for overhead bridge demotion as part of a $117.7M PA Turnpike upgrade.
The work schedule are:
- Monday, Feb. 28, and Thursday, March 3, from 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. alternating single lane closures will be in place in both directions on Route 422 between Route 202 and First Avenue interchanges;
- Tuesday, March 1, from 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. alternating single lane closures will be in place from Route 422 between the Route 202 and First Avenue interchanges; and
- Wednesday, March 2, from 7:00 PM to 6:00 a.m. alternating single lane closures will be in place on westbound N. Gulph Road between Goddard Boulevard and First Avenue Motorists should use caution and be prepared for slow or stopped traffic approaching this area. All activities are weather permitting.
The road work is related to the turnpike project to expand a 2-mile stretch from milepost 324, the Valley Forge Route Bridge and 326 milepost the Valley Forge Interchange is expected to be complete in 2025.
