Truck Trailer Pulls Down Wires, Pole in Paoli
A midday accident causes big headaches at a major intersection.

A tractor trailer making a left turn into South Valley Rd from Westbound Lancaster Avenue hit wires and dragged down a utility pole around noon on Tuesday, eyewitnesses tell TE Patch.
One woman who saw the crash but who asked not to have her name published said she could hear a tremendous crack and crash as the pole crumbled from overhead wires being snagged by the truck's trailer.
South Valley Road across from the Valley Road bridge and Paoli Train Station remained closed through he evening rush hour as crews worked to install a new utility pole.
Witnesses tell Patch no power wires were hit, only communication lines.
